Skiing and building snow forts are two of MY favourite activities to do in the snow. There are so many other things to do in the winter like playing hockey ,ice/figure skating, building stuff (snowmen,forts,figures,etc.), snowboarding, going tobogganing, having snowball fights or even something as simple as playing outside or enjoying nature!!! As you can see, there are so many things to do in winter. I know I didn't list them ALL but those are some of the more “popular” things to do.
When people complain of being COLD, I don’t see why you don’t just dress warmer...add a few layers. I can understand if it’s 30 below Zero or something, but other than that DON”T COMPLAIN!!! If you are doing an activity like skiing or snowboarding, they even have warmers for your feet and hands too!!!
So no excuses....go out and enjoy the SNOW!!!

Winter is awesome! It is my favorite season. My favorite things to do are playing hockey, snowball fights, sledding, and skiing. I don't get how you don't like winter with snow many different things to do!

i also like snow i would rather have it cold then warm anyway because i dont like warm weather. also because theres a lot more fun things you can do in the winter. and what i also like is like when you play outside and then come in and have hot chocholate and watch tv. thats all i have to say.

one of my favourite things to do is have a snowball fight. Its pretty easy to stay warm until a snowball goes down your shirt. Then it melts and makes your shirt wet and uncomfortable, which isn't very fun at all.

I agree with you "skijigger101". People always complain about how cold it is and how slippery it is but just because of a couple disadvantages doesn't mean that you can't have fun! Even just being outside and getting some nice fresh air is refreshing!

SNOW! Winter's my favorite season, and people complain about not having snow at Christmas, but complain when there is snow in mid- November. This is Canada! Get used to the snow or move to Hawaii!

I have to agree with all the positive comments about winter. It's true, when you live in a winter climate you better figure out how to make it fun. I can never figure out why people complain about things they can't control, like weather. There is really no point. Now that I think about it, I don't understand why people complain about things they can control. If you can control it, change it. I guess I don't see the point in complaining at all.
