So you need to tell me what you think. The question is: School uniform or not? What do you think and why?
If you favor them what color should the uniforms have and should we have one for each season? If we get them will the girls uniform be different from the boys or should they be the same?
If you are against school uniforms, why? What is so bad about them?
If we get them what will you do, will you just wear them, protest or do something to get rid of your uniform?
~Camel Rider
I agree, kids should be free to wear what ever they want to express their feelings and personalities. If we get school uniforms I think it would take away that freedom. If someone was always misbehaving and dressing in black, red and dark colours, and we get new baby blue uniforms, than they would just destroy it and there would be no point for the uniforms if he/she paints it black or rips it.

Yes down with uniforms
DeleteI don't think that we should have uniforms. I like seeing people's creativity and not having to see the same old uniforms everyday.
ReplyDeleteI think that if we did get uniforms, girls and boys' uniforms should be different. Like skirts for girls and pants for guys.
If we did get them, I would protest so we wouldn't have to wear them anymore.
What do YOU think?
~swigglestickhorse693
I agree with swigglestickhorse693. I think that kids shouldn't have to wear school uniforms. If we did get uniforms I would tear mine up the day we got it but I would probably get in trouble. And also at things like the Christmas concert the parents wouldn't be able to find their kids because we would probably be wearing our uniforms. And also my mom would hate it because it is one more thing to wash.

Back in england I wore a uniform. It was red and said the schools name on it. For me it was easy to pick my clothes every morning, since I was in kindergarten it didnt take me that much time. The girls did have different uniforms from the boys. The girls wore dresses or skirts with a t-shirt or sweater.
ReplyDeleteIt was hard for me to recognize people from the back, so I got people mixedup a lot. I like how different people can be so creative and show the different outfits they have, normal clothes make me feel like im in more of a colorful world. (p.s.we got to wear our own clothes on concert days)
When I first came to Canada I asked my dad where my uniform is. He told me I wouldnt be wearing one. On my first day of school it felt really weird not wearing a uniform, but I felt more free without one. I felt like I was in a brighter world. I think my mom was a bit happier to because of less laundry.
So no, i dont think we should wear uniforms!
~Turtle 101
I THINK NOT. School uniformes are very wierd. Even to think about it semes strange. I don't think that school uniforms are a good idea AT ALL. And I don't even care about what coulour they are.
ReplyDeleteBut thats just me.

I disagree a lot, you guys!!
ReplyDeleteWe should make EVERYONE wear uniforms, it would be easier that way. Some people get bullied because of what they wear. With uniforms the amount of people being bullied would go down and we would one big, happy forest... at least I hope so. :(
But the only thing is that you should be able to customize it with things that you like to wear like is you are a girl, a funky (yes, I said funky) and other things!! :)
That is why we SHOULD wear uniforms!!!!!!!!!!!
My point has been proven! :)

I don't think we need uniforms at our school. I enjoy choosing my own cloths and I would not like for people to choose cloths for me. (Even if the color of the uniforms changed every season.) I think that the cloths people wear tell us what their personality is.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing all the different types of cloths people wear. Not seeing the same old thing every day. I also love seeing all the creative cloths.
I think if we needed to wear a school uniform, together the school should pick the color and design of the outfit! That's my point of view though, so what is yours. Can't wait to read!

I say yes and no.
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of uniforms but like turtle 101 said you confuse people at the back.
I also don't like it because people have a lot of fun with their clothes and how they wear it.
If you have a uniform you cant put a lot of accessories because it won't look good. If you don't look good then there comes bullying.
Lets say kids want to be a designer when they grow up, if we have uniforms you cant really wear designer clothes but if you have designer clothes then the kid is one step ahed int their job.
What do you think?
~Swirly R
I disagree with some of you cause if we don't have to wear uniforms then it shows your personality and how you behave when you dont want them to be shown.
ReplyDeleteI come from a country where we should were uniforms cause there are many poor people living in there and when the children were the same dress to school some kids make fun of them and the children get dissapointed but even though there are no poor children here or kids who are so mean my opinion is that we should wear uniforms because on the other hand it is very neat and clean and also all look the same and friendly that is why I think we should wear uniforms.

I believe that the idea of introducing uniforms in schools was to bring a discipline among students. It is really a modest look on the kids face who go to school in uniforms (without any accessories. However if students are determined to carry themselves in a disciplined manner irrespective of what they wear, then uniforms aren't mandatory.
ReplyDeleteBut I always vote 'yes' for uniforms

I think that camel rider is right. Clothes do show your personality. In the words of Cyndi Lauper, show your true colors. If you can't dress the way you want you have to invite people over to show them your new shirt or something. I can't stand uniforms unless it has something to do with sports. I think they should jazz things up a bit.

I don't think we should were uniforms we have a right to were what WE want. If uniforms would be brought to our school I would protest. It would mean having to were the same thing every day over and over again. It would be like eating sweets and chocolate without any sugar in it it would be tasteless. It is a lot more fun to were what ever you want to show off your personalities.
ReplyDeleteI THINK NO UNIFORMS!!!!!
~Violetpuppie$
Personally I do not think kids should wear uniforms. If a uniform was uncomfertable children would be discouraged from going to school. Although there is an up side with uniforms. You just have to get up not thinking "what should I wear today?". With no uniforms kids can show thir inner personalities.
ReplyDelete~treeFrog11
What I think is that we should get uniforms. Because if we go to some place like the legislature if one of us gets lost, a security person just has to look at the uniform, and then immediatly knows, oh that kids from Forest Heights. and I also think not because as you said, it shows the personality of the person. So I think we should not get uniforms.

Biodiversity (meaning variety) is always better. No to school uniforms, but which also means don't all dress like the current clothing trends or your best friend. Find your own style. Be you!
ReplyDeleteTwo Lips
I agree that kids sould be able to wear whatever they want. Why should Parents pay extra for clothes when they can just pay for the clothes that their kids need? Kids might just break their uniform because they don't like it. Kids like diffrent clothing, so they might not like to all wear the same thing. if kids had o wearm the same thing, they could not show their friends their new shirt.
ReplyDeleteWhat do YOU think?
~ART04
One of my friends wore uniforms at her old school and her sister got the chance to design them. I think that we should still dress apropreately but we should be free to wear what we want.
ReplyDelete~jigger101
I personally agree with zombie. I also agree with ART04. If you wear all the same thing, than you are all the same. It would suck!
ReplyDelete~~khajiit~~
I disagree with ART04 and khajiit. If you wear the same thing it shouldn't mean that everyone is the same like robots! I still don't want school uniforms. I like Two Lips' post. Biodiversity is the best. School uniforms would make every thing confusing. Teachers would constatly get students mixed up especiely if two people look alike or are twins or something. Your friends may not notice you in a crowd. Also if you say something to somebody who you think is your friend but isn't, that would be super embaressing.
ReplyDeleteNO TO SCHOOL UNIFORMS!!!
